• Recommended Water Filtration: Installing an inline water filter system (such as the WFI37000) is strongly recommended to protect internal valves, prevent mineral scale buildup, and maintain crystal-clear ice purity.

• Mandatory 6-Monthly Maintenance Program: Commercial ice machines require regular preventive maintenance to maintain peak performance and safeguard warranty coverage:

  • Scale Removal: De-scale the evaporator plate and water distribution system using approved de-scaler every 6 months.

  • Sanitisation: Flush and sanitise the water reservoir, spray bars, distribution tubes, and bin liner.

  • Mechanical Checks: Inspect water inlet valves, water pump housing, fan blades, electrical contactors, and ice harvest cycle.

  • Refrigeration Servicing: Clean and flush condenser coils; check operating pressures, superheat, sub-cooling, and compressor amperage.

  • Filter Replacement: Replace inline water filter cartridges every 6 months.
